Hey all, only just found this place after being a big fan of the game for many years.
A couple of years ago I did my own remasters of the TH music, and wondered if you might like a listen - not wanting to detract from ZR's, which I think are great, I just wondered if you might like a second imagining of them - we seem to have taken them in quite different directions!
They're uploaded here for now - whether my bandwidth can cope with people downloading 'em, I'll have to see
Cheers, _________________ -Mushroom. |

I will have a listen for sure.
Question though, what on earth is on your site?
If you need more bandwidth, just let me know. _________________ JavaHospital is on the way. I'm @relequestual on twitter. |

I really like that! Especially Steady Beat, it is a lot less irritating than the original - is it now violin instead of whatever it was before for the main bit?
Have you thought of remixing them a bit too? I'd love to hear some of it remixed. _________________ - Jack |

Er, if you mean Annie Lennox's Curious Dancing Eyebrows, it's just a placeholder. It's basically just webspace, rather than being a website
I think I'll probably be alright for bandwidth unless the entire population of this forum decided to download the file all at once or something - hopefully that isn't likely to happen!

I think I changed less in Steady Beat than a lot of the others, actually... the main part is sampled brass rather than synth brass (which I personally can't stand, and was probably the reason I embarked on the remasters in the first place!)
The main challenge I found with remastering them was to try and get the same sort of muted brass sound that's used in a lot of the original tracks without it ending up sounding too shrill - I tested each of them on a few friends to try and get the balance right, so I hope they're alright for everyone.
I've taken a few liberties with changing some sounds around (like using rhodes piano and wurlitzer in a few tracks rather than just standard piano), but as for remixing them... I'm not really sure where I'd start!
It would depend how you wanted to remix them really - if you wanted to make them more dancey for example, I guess that would be possible with a bit of work. _________________ -Mushroom. |

I would love to hear some dance versions, from a personal point of view. OCRemix would probably want them too, if you've ever seen that site. (I just love the Sonic and Zool remixes)
Yes I think I couldn't stand the synth version either. I more pointed that one out because it is my favourite though. _________________ - Jack |

I like them, unfortunaly i didnt have the origional files to compare, but i had the ZR-mix. From what i heard you kept it more to the origional style than the ZR-mix did, which i like.
I especially like on the Mend, it really brings back the old TH memories. _________________ -Anakin |
