That solution for the screen is brilliant!
Never thought of that.
The skeleton could use a bit of work though, looks like something that came out of Grim Fandango. |

Edit: To clarify, face on it looks good, side on is too wide. (Does that make sense?)
Must say though, very impressed with everything I've seen so far. |
Original TH Bookcase is too wide, I made mine to be just like it. Heres less wide (also had to change lights cause they were too small to cover whole bookcase).
Diag Machine + added some details.
Screen + little detail
Skeleton + added hands, eyes, feets, also made head less Grim Fandango looking + bone texture.

Models and pix maybe, but there will be still lots of stuff to do, like how they will be put in game? new layer system or old way (sprite for every doctor/patient + item) <- this will be a lot of work, and it'll need new doctor/patient models... that will be hard. _________________ Visit Kamoland

Of course, but two weeks ago there were only dreams of complete new graphics... A lot has happened since then. _________________ For the End-Of-The-World spell, press Ctrl-Alt-Delete. |

For the skeleton, why not use a free model from 3d-cafe? They've got sofa's and stuff as well. Then you'd only need to modify them a bit, and especially the skeleton saves you a lot of work.
The screen should not have 4 identical sides: 1 side must open to allow the patient to go in and out. Use only a top rail with cloth that can be shoved to one side, like dressing rooms in many clothing stores.
I think the bookcase looks rather vintage; I'd expect a more modern version in an hospital today. Maybe a metal filecabinet-like thingy for hygene?
I really like the work you are putting into this, keep it up! |

Agreed. There should definitely be something visible from all angles to show where the patient will enter from (for the player's benefit).

Given that psychiatric offices tend to be fairly comfortable places, I think the homely feeling from an old oak bookcase makes sense. The training room on the other hand might want a different design.
To this day I'm not sure why the skeleton was in the Psychiatric room in the first place. I wonder if it was a side effect of the bookcase and skeleton combo being in the training room. |

That is a good point. I wonder if there is something more modern we could update it with? (Although, as pointed out, this object is still useful for the training room)
Here are a few photos:

Photo 2
Possibly less like this one though!
Painting and photos on the wall are something I'd like to add by the way, for any room and for corridors. Classic art, modern art, medical diagrams and certificates all having different effects. I'll bring that up more when the code is in place for it. (Again, like every feature, we don't necessarily have to use it. The code is still required for things like the x-ray viewer) _________________ - Jack |

For screen I thought to make it open like doors on one side (as said before it would need 2 squares, 1 for screen, 1 reserved for animation, so it would be clear from which side patient will approach). _________________ Visit Kamoland

Now that I'm at home again, here's an image of a file cabinet. I think they look pretty much the same nowadays...
Maybe they have another color?
Anyway I'll try to make the GP's chair now. _________________ For the End-Of-The-World spell, press Ctrl-Alt-Delete. |

The file cabinet looks like a body cabinet in the morgue. Change the handle into a smaller one and put a label on each rack. _________________ The hospital administrator is a cheat! |

Now that you mention it, it really does look like that. |

Idea for a new room? Morgue .
If somebody dies, you then have to get a janitor to clean up the body and move it to the morgue, for a last paycheck . |

I'd rather say after they've been to the research department... It has always astonished me that that machine can make people completely disappear no matter how many you throw in it. _________________ For the End-Of-The-World spell, press Ctrl-Alt-Delete. |
